Categories of Wirral Metropolitan Council Funding Support
In accordance with the Wirral LA Flex Scheme criteria, ECO4 funding is provided directly by the energy provider to eligible households. Funding assistance is available for the following categories of households:
- Fuel Poverty
- Low Income and Vulnerable to Cold Living Conditions (LIVC)
- A declaration must be endorsed by the property owner or tenant.

- Gather any required documentation, such as confirmation of income, benefits received.

- Complete the application form and submit it with the necessary documentation.
- Consumer Rights will then contact you and arrange an installer for your case.
- If approved, the installers will schedule a date to assess the property and then carry out the improvements and make your home more energy efficient.

Duties and Accountabilities
Energy suppliers and/or their agents involved in flexible eligibility surveys and identified works must comply with the Data Protection Act, perform work in accordance with Ofgem requirements, and adhere to industry best practices for consumer care and quality standards.
Local authorities will inspect a number of completed projects for workmanship quality.
